What Counts As Proof Of Purchase

Last updated

Summary

Every warranty claim needs an official proof of purchase. We cannot process a warranty replacement without one, because each claim is reviewed and approved against it.

What Is Covered

An official receipt or invoice that shows all of the following:

  • The seller's name and location.
  • The NUX product you bought.
  • The date of purchase.
  • Your name as the purchaser.

What Is Not Covered

  • Screenshots. Compression makes them hard to read. Send a PDF instead.
  • Documents that leave out the seller, product, date or purchaser name.

What You Need

Send the receipt as a PDF file. If you no longer have it, log in to your account on the dealer's website, or ask the dealer for a copy. Authorized dealers keep transaction records well beyond the warranty period.

How Long It Takes

Reply to your ticket with the PDF attached and we will move your claim forward. If we are waiting on your receipt, we send a reminder after 7 days and close the request after 14 days. Replying with the receipt reopens it.

Effective Date

Last reviewed September 24, 2026.
