Re-Pair A Wireless Transmitter And Receiver

Last updated

Applies To

NUX wireless systems. Most NUX systems come paired from the factory. Steps differ by model, so find yours below.

What You Need

Both units fully charged. Units come paired from the factory, so you only need this if you get dropouts, interference, or have bought a replacement transmitter or receiver.

Steps

C-5RC and B-5RC

  1. Disconnect both units from the charger and turn both off.
  2. Place the transmitter and receiver close together.
  3. Press and hold the power buttons on both units at the same time for about 8 seconds, until both lights turn green.

B-8

  1. Turn the transmitter off. Power the B-8 receiver (the pedal); its screen shows SCANNING.
  2. Hold the receiver footswitch for about 2 seconds, until the screen shows PAIRING.
  3. Hold the transmitter's ON/OFF button for about 4 seconds, until its light blinks green. The receiver shows PAIRED.

B-6

  1. Turn both units off.
  2. Press and hold POWER/SCENE on both units for more than 5 seconds.
  3. Pairing is done when the receiver's light changes from red to green.

B-6 Pro

  1. Turn the receiver on; its screen shows SCANNING.
  2. Hold the receiver's Back button until the screen shows PAIRING.
  3. Turn the transmitter on and press its Main Button. The receiver shows PAIRED.

B-7 Pro

  1. On the transmitter, hold the Back button until the screen shows PAIRING.
  2. Turn the receiver on and press its power button.
  3. The screen shows PAIRED.

B-7 PSM

  1. Turn the receiver off.
  2. Hold the power buttons on both units for more than 8 seconds.
  3. Pairing is done when the transmitter light is green. If you use several sets, pair them one at a time.

B-3RC

There is nothing to pair by hand. Turn both units on and they pair automatically and pick a clear channel group. The units turn off after 10 minutes without a connection.

B-1 Lite and B-2 Plus

These use channels instead of pairing. Press the channel button on the transmitter and on the receiver until both show the same channel. Both remember the last channel used.

Check It Worked

The lights show a steady connection (or the receiver screen shows PAIRED) and you hear your instrument.
