Bluetooth Pairing For Mighty BT Amps

Last updated

Applies To

Mighty 8BT MKII, Mighty 20 MKII and Mighty 40 MKII. The Mighty 20 MKII and 40 MKII use the included NBT-1 Bluetooth module, which plugs into the amp's USB-C port.

The Mighty 8 BT, Mighty 20 BT and Mighty 40 BT Support Hubs cover both the MKII and the original BT models. On the original Mighty 8 BT, the Bluetooth light blinks when the amp is ready to pair and stays lit once connected; select the amp in your phone's Bluetooth settings. For the original Mighty 20 BT and 40 BT, see the owner's manual linked from the product's Support Hub.

What You Need

Your phone or tablet with Bluetooth on, near the amp. For tone editing, the Mighty Amp app (iOS or Android).

Bluetooth audio and Bluetooth MIDI are separate connections. Connect them one at a time: audio for playing music through the amp, MIDI for controlling the amp from the app.

  3. The amp plays a sound when it connects.

Control the amp from the Mighty Amp app (Bluetooth MIDI)

  1. Open the Mighty Amp app and tap Settings.
  2. Set Current Amp to your model, for example MIGHTY 8BT MKII.
  3. Tap Scan Devices and select your amp.

Check It Worked

Music from your phone plays through the amp, and changes in the app are heard on the amp.
