About the Atlantic

The NUX Atlantic Delay & Reverb Pedal is a compact, dual‑function effects pedal designed to give guitarists a powerful toolkit for adding rich delay and reverb textures — from vintage‑era tape echoes to lush modern atmospheres. Whether you're chasing classic analog warmth or modern ambient soundscapes, Atlantic delivers.

Built with NUX’s “Core Image Technology,” Atlantic combines historically significant delay and reverb algorithms with modern extras like Shimmer and Freeze effects — inspiring new musical ideas while honoring classic tones.

Product Features

Three iconic Delay modes:

70’s Analog (BBD‑style) - 40 ms to 400 ms: captures the vintage, warm, slightly gritty echoes typical of classic ’70s gear.

60’s Tape Echo – 55 ms to 550 ms: delivers a warm, saturated “dusty tape‑machine” vibe — perfect for retro, psychedelic, or atmospheric tones.

80’s Digital Delay – 80 ms to 800 ms: clean, crystal‑clear repeats for a modern, polished delay feel — ideal when you want clarity without coloration.

Three versatile Reverb types

Spring Reverb – classic “tank” reverb sound with adjustable depth and decay for surf, rockabilly, or vintage vibe.

Plate Reverb + Shimmer – clean, bright room reflections — hold the reverb switch to engage a shimmering, ethereal reverb tail for ambient or post‑rock textures.

Hall Reverb – large‑room or hall-style ambience, from intimate small‑room reflections to grand, cavernous decay. Adjust “size” and “decay” to shape the space.

Smart Tap Tempo with Subdivisions

The pedal includes a patented “Smart TAP” function that lets you simply tap the footswitch to set delay tempo — no entering separate tap mode. Tempo range is wide (125 ms–1500 ms), and you can use subdivided rhythms (½, ¼, etc.) to create everything from slow, cinematic delays to tight slapback echoes instantly.

Flexible Effect Routing
Inside‑routing control lets you choose the order of Delay → Reverb or Reverb → Delay (serial), or use a parallel chain. This flexibility lets you craft deep, layered textures or keep effects separate — great for ambient soundscapes or clean signal clarity.

Pro‑level Connectivity
Stereo input (6.35 mm TRS) and dual 6.35 mm outputs for full stereo delay/reverb processing.

Input‑level toggle (+4 dB / –10 dB) to match guitar, synth, or other instrument levels for proper headroom and clean signal.

USB port for firmware updates — ensuring longevity, bug fixes, and potential new features over time.

Compact, Pedalboard‑Friendly Design
Its metal housing and relatively compact size make it a solid addition to a pedalboard without taking too much space.
