No Sound Or Low Output

Last updated

Symptom

No sound, very low output, or sound in only one side.

Applies To

NUX amps, modelers, pedals and wireless systems.

Quick Fix

Check the volume and master level on the product and on whatever it plugs into, then try a different cable.

Work Through These Steps

  1. Turn the volume, master and output levels up on the product.
  2. Try a different instrument cable, and a different input or output jack.
  3. Check the power adapter matches the product (Which Power Supply Does My NUX Product Need?).
  4. Wireless: charge and re-pair the transmitter and receiver.
  5. Modelers: check the preset, the output mode, and whether an effect is muting the signal. The MG-30, MG-300 MKII and MG-400 can be restored to factory settings from the global or system menu; see the owner's manual. This erases your presets, so back them up first.

When It Is A Fault

If there is still no sound with known-good cables and the correct adapter, the unit may be faulty. See How The NUX Warranty Works.

Still Not Working?
