How The NUX Warranty Works
Summary
NUX covers its products against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. How long you are covered depends on when you bought the product new:
| Purchased new | Coverage |
|---|---|
| Before January 1, 2025 | 5-year limited warranty from the original purchase date |
| On or after January 1, 2025 | 3-year limited warranty from the original purchase date |
Coverage applies to the original purchaser and starts on the date shown on a valid proof of purchase.
What Is Covered
- Products bought new from NUX or an authorized NUX retailer or dealer.
- Defects in materials and workmanship that appear during normal use within the warranty period.
What Is Not Covered
- Normal cosmetic wear and tear.
- Damage from misuse, abuse, accidents, improper installation or improper maintenance.
- Products that have been modified, opened, or repaired by anyone other than NUX.
- Damage caused by the wrong power supply, environmental conditions, or use outside the product's operating specifications.
- Products without a valid proof of purchase.
- Products bought used, unless the law requires otherwise.
What You Need
A valid proof of purchase, plus your full name, shipping address, phone number and email address. See What Counts As Proof Of Purchase. We may also ask for photos, a short video, or the troubleshooting steps you have tried.
How Long It Takes
Once your claim is approved, NUX decides the right remedy: repair, replacement with a new or refurbished product of equal or comparable value, or another remedy at NUX's discretion. See After You Submit A Warranty Claim for each step.
Replacements keep your original warranty. A replacement unit is covered for the time remaining on your original purchase. It does not restart or extend the warranty.
Bought outside the United States? Warranty, replacements and spare parts are handled by the NUX distributor in your country. Contact them directly.
