About the WSM-290P

Digital Metronome with Classic Mechanical Styling

The WSM-290P — nicknamed the "Metronome Time Machine" — blends the look of a traditional wind-up metronome with modern digital precision. Inside its compact case sits a precision stepper motor paired with an ARM processor: the motor swings the pendulum through a classic 60-degree arc, while the processor keeps time and drives the sound.

Thanks to onboard sampling, the WSM-290P reproduces the tick of legendary mechanical metronomes alongside modern options like a spoken beat count, drum-style clicks, and a cowbell tone — so practice sessions can sound as traditional or as contemporary as you like. A rechargeable battery means no more digging for a replacement coin cell mid-practice.
