About the WST-551C

A Tribute to the Original Clip-On Tuner

In 2005, Cherub released the WST-550G — the first-ever clip-on digital tuner and a genuine turning point in how guitarists tune on the go. The WST-551C, part of the Orig-Tune line, revives that original spirit with updated internals: a segmented color LED display, a high-sensitivity piezo sensor, and Cherub's latest tuning technology, all wrapped in a simple two-button design.

With only two controls — power/tune and reference pitch — the WST-551C is built for musicians who want to clip it on and tune without digging through menus. The LED indicators glow green when a string is in tune and red when it's sharp or flat, so accuracy is visible at a glance from a few feet away.
