About the Tape Echo
A modern stompbox that faithfully captures the character of classic tape-delay machines, while delivering modern flexibility and reliability. Inspired by the iconic 1970s “Space Echo” units, this pedal uses cutting-edge “Core-Image” digital modeling to reproduce the subtle tape saturation, tape-head coloration, natural spring reverb, and even the gentle wow & flutter that give tape echo its timeless magic — without the maintenance, noise issues or bulk of real magnetic-tape gear.
